Katar All Steel-Punch Dagger, 18th/19th c. - Long slender blade for protrusion through defenses, with a double edge and raised central reinforcing ridge. The characteristic H shaped handle with a triangular steel bar connected at the center for stability. This example is one a group nearly exactly in proportions and wear to one another that had come to a Southern California collector as purportedly the armoury of Mysore. Size 18 1/4” L, blade 10 1/4” L Condition: Overall good condition with minor signs of wear and use.
