Primitive Medieval Polearm, 14th-17th C. - Early period example of agricultural implement converted to polearm for use in battle, this sickle or bill like polearm with a shape single hooked edge. Particularly suitable for infantry as most were familiar with the tool as a farm implement and then later as a weapon in battle.
