British Infantry Officers Sword, Pattern 1845 w/Hinge - British Infantry officer's sword with scabbard. Sword a single edge slightly curved blade with foliate etching to the ricasso. Guard in gilt bronze with pierced openwork royal cypher and a hinged inner guard. Ray skin grip with gilt twisted brass wire over. Size 39 1/2” L, blade 32 3/8” L ex-California collection Condition: Good with finish in unrestored condition, wear to etching commensurate with age and use.
