Tabak Warrior Bolo ”Horse Head” Sword, Post-WWII Period - Philippines Archipelagos, Batangas population, Tabak peoples. Vintage bolo sword with bright steel quillion which is carved and inset with red stone. Carved carabao horn handle in form of a horse head with the handle inset with stones and carved panels. Ears of the horse head hollow carved for inset of feathers or decorative tassel. Horse eyes a black inset stone. Engraved to the blade ” PHILIPPINES ”.
