Indian Katar Punch Dagger, 18th/19th c. - India, purportedly Armory of Mysore. All-Steel Long slender blade for protrusion through defenses, with a double edge and raised central reinforcing ridge. Typical characteristic H-shaped handle with pierced open double bar grip between long side guard. Size 18 1/4” L overall, size of blade 10 3/4” L This example is one a group nearly exacting in proportions and wear to one another that had come to a Southern California Collector as purportedly the armoury of Mysore. Condition: Pitting and wear overall with some reduction of the blade from use and polishing
