WWII German Officers Sword - German third Reich officer's sword and scabbard. The hilt is a gilt stirrup variation having an eagle with folded wings and swastika on the crossguard langet. Lions head pommel, with red glass eyes and has a leaf design down the backstrap. The grip is black plastic bound with silver wire. The plain, slightly curved chromed blade has a single fuller to each side and the ricasso is stamped with the Elkhorn Solingen trade mark. The black painted scabbard has a single loose ring mounted on a band. Size 36 1/4” L, blade 30 1/4” L
