Narino Monkey Decorated Ocarina, Shell Form - Columbia SA, circa 1250 AD. Lovely sea shell shaped ocarina, with polychrome coloring in tan and red, with lovely incised details throughout. A playful monkey crawls around the top of the shell. Size 4 3/4” L ex-New York, New York collection, ex-Carol Meyer (1915 - 2006) New York collection Condition: Very old loss to top and minor surface wear throughout.
