Rare Calima Seated Female & Male Cargador Couple - Columbia, SA, circa 100 BC to 200 AD. Pair of burnt umber colored pottery seated figural vases or cups. Both the man and woman have a cylindrical hollow vessel forming their bodies. Hands resting on their knees, with expressive faces and overall incised details. Size of male 5 1/4” H, 3 3/4” W ex-New York, New York collection, private collection of a New Jersey physician, acquired from Vito Giallo Antiques, NYC 1980's-1990's.
