Black & White Paneled Cabasset, 1580-1650 - European, Cabasset type helm circa 1580-1650 in the black and white fashion with paneled decoration hand hammered. Known for their ”Pear Stalk” peak and folded edge rim hammered from a single sheet of steel, debossed with recessed black painted panels, and a roped edge.
