18th C. Antique Tulwar ”TEGHA” Elaborate Broad Saber - 18th century to early 19th century massive tulwar ”TEGHA” broad saber. The thick 29” curved blade elaborately decorated with brass to both sides depicting tigers, elephants and nobles in panels beneath 5 vertical lines terminating in a floral design at the double edged tip. Unsharpened back side of the blade incised. Guard incised with brass inlay. The brass inlaid extends to the grip which terminates to a brass inlaid pommel. The large disc shaped pommel finishes with bud-shaped finial. Size 33” L, blade 29” L
