African bronze sword probably from Lower Niger bronze industry 10th-16th century with wide double edged diamond shaped blade and squared tip blade similar to medieval beheading swords of the same period. The lower section of the grip triangular form with the grip itself featuring several raised ribs to the for handling with light flare to the pommel. 25 1/4" L, blade 18 1/2" L
