J. W. Benson English Half Hunter Pocket-Watch - Circa 1930s silver cased J.W.B. half hunter pocket watch with an English movement and manual opening case. Half hunter watches were made so hunters could quickly check the time with the half exposed face, without having to open the entire face. Including the exposed face is a secondary pointer on the hour hand to quickly assess the time. Several silver marks to the piece on the dial and reverse of the face plate. Size watch 2” W, chain 11” L Condition: Chain is a later addition to the timepiece. Surface wear and scratches commensurate with age.
