Mumuye African Rain Wand, 20th Century - Beautiful African rain wand forged from several pounds of iron in captivating serpentine style rods, with diamond shaped tips. Base of each end is fused to the central body with a tapered handle. Mumuye shamans would use rain-making wands such as these because they believed their snake-like forms mimicked flashes of lightening.
