Exotic Chambri Peoples Carved Wood Flute or Wusear Ancestor, PNG Sepik 20th c. - Oceania, Papua New Guinea, Sepik Region, probably Chambri peoples. Tall ceremonial exotic PNG figural flute or Wusear musician carved from a single trunk of wood. Dark smooth patinated body, accentuated features and decorated in bone including a necklace of spine and circular pieces. The face painted white, rounded details and playing the Sepik flute instrument. Size 29 1/2” H
