Exceptional Ancient Fragmented Bronze Thai Buddha, 18th c.
Asia, Thailand or possibly Burma exceptional 18th century or earlier bronze Buddha with open almond eyes inlaid in black and white enamel. Featuring elongated traditional ears, characteristic hair with the center bun absent, serene facial expression, and robes draped across one side.
Buddha is a symbol of peace, compassion, harmony, and inner peace of mind are an important relic of Buddhism. The statues are representative of the merits and virtues of Buddhism and helping those who understand and possess the idols positive energies.
