Etched Spanish Cup-Hilt Rapier, 17th C.
Fine etched Spanish Cup-Hilt rapier with a large etched and stippled bowl with roped edge, typical crossguard straight quillon, the wire grip replaced, the pommel etched and similar to remainder, the blade is very good quality and etched towards the recase and just below with scrolling patters and stippling, double edged and sharp at the tip for thrusting and duel. Blade 32", overall 39 1/2"
