African Ashanti Tribal Fertility Figure - Ashanti Tribal fertility wooden figurine. This piece is believed to be from the early to mid 20th century. It has brass triangular inlay as well as glass beads which is common in Ashanti figures. This particular figurine depicts a female and is in pristine condition with minor loss comensurate with its age. The beads and brass are held to the statue with some form of natural cement be it tar or tree sap.
