CSABA MARKUS, ”LA LICIANA” - ”La Liciana”, a hand embellished color giclee on canvas, hand-signed in ink by listed artist, Csaba Markus circa 2014. Limited edition, signed lower right and measures in frame, 39'' H x 23'' W. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and appraisal from Park West Gallery. Markus was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1953. Growing up in a Communist country, Markus found refuge in Europe's art museums and baroque architecture. The aspiring artist became fascinated by the work of Renaissance artists like Michelangelo, Caravaggio, and Botticelli. These studies inspired him to draw and paint.
