Benji Asada was a Kyoto-based woodblock print artist and painter active in the Sosaku Hanga (Creative Print) movement during the early 20th century. He trained at the Kyoto City School of Fine Arts and Crafts, as well as the Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting.
