REBECCA WEST, ”BLACK LAMB AND GREY FALCON” - TYMOR FARM - This lot features a two-volume set of Rebecca West's ”Black Lamb and Grey Falcon, ” a renowned nonfiction work detailing her travels through Yugoslavia. From the Tymor Farm collection, stamped as shown in photos. From the collection of Jean Webster who was a niece of Mark Twain and her father was Mark Twain's publisher. She graduated from Vassar College in 1901. Jean and Ralph Connor, the daughter and son in law, inherited Tymor Farm and in 1971 donated five hundred acres of land to the people of Union Vale to be used as a park and recreation center.
