Measures in the frame, 41.25'' H x 51'' W. Jack Willis was born in Hillsboro, Texas. After growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, and attending Texas Wesleyan College, he moved to Iowa to attend art school and study in the world-renowned printmaking studio of Mauricio Lasansky. While at Iowa majoring in painting and gaining valuable technical experience in printmaking, Willis formulated many of his approaches to color and composition.
