FOUR BARBER HALF DOLLARS - This lot features four (4) Barber Half Dollars from various years including, 1893, 1899, 1902-O, & 1905-O. The Barber Half Dollar, also known as the Liberty Head half dollar, was designed by Charles E. Barber and minted from 1892 to 1915. The design was a change from the previous Seated Liberty series, and the Barber coinage also included Barber dimes and Barber quarters. These coins were made of 90% silver and were regularly circulated, but some dates and mint marks are now scarce and valuable to collectors.
