CRITERION, AMBASSADOR, & COLLEGIAN FOUNTAIN PENS, 14K GOLD NIBS - A set of three vintage fountain pens by makers Criterion, Ambassador, & Collegian. All three contain solid 14k gold nibs and appear to be in good overall condition. The Criterion fountain pen, a relatively uncommon and inexpensive pen, was marketed in the 1920s, featuring a 14-karat gold point and a collector design that helped prevent ink flow issues. The ”Ambassador” name was used as a marketing term for pens manufactured by a few different pen companies, most notably Majestic Pen Company, which was formerly J. Harris & Son Pen Company of NYC.
