ARABIA FINLAND DINNERWARE: ANEMONE BY RAIJA UOSIKKINEN - A stunning vintage dinnerware set by Arabia of Finland. This lot features the Arabia Anemone design by Raija Uosikkinen and contains 52 items in total. All pieces feature maker marks underneath as shown in photos and only two pieces appear to have small visible chips with the remaining pieces in excellent condition. Uosikkinen worked as a decorator at Arabia from 1947 - 1986 and was head of the Decoration Department established in 1952. One of the most prolific decorators at Arabia. Arabia was a Finnish ceramics company, founded in 1873 by Rörstrand, now owned by Fiskars. Arabia has specialized in faience and porcelain kitchenware and tableware. The original Arabia porcelain factory was located in Toukola (Helsinki). It later housed the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
