Pocket Watch Case with 1848 Ship Provenance - A handwritten provenance says: Watch Case made of Sandal Wood carried from Singapore to China in the Ship Tonquin in 1848.  For Fanny from Em. C. A later dedication is penciled inside: Sandalwood from India, E.M.C.- A.F.C. to H.C. 1896. Well-made fitted case, interesting history. Holds a watch approx. 1 5/8” diameter.
