Articulated Fighting Cocks Toy - Unknown American Manufacturer. Produced Circa 1890. This unusual toy is not a bell toy. And yet, it illustrates many of the features that we strongly associate with bell toys, notably the cast wheels with hearts and a vividly painted platform upon which the action takes place. A complex set of very thin gears effectuates the bellicose ”cock fight”action of the toy. At this time, we are aware of no other examples of this colorful animated toy. Condition: Pristine Condition.
