Gator Baiter Bell Toy - Made by the Gong Bell Company. East Hampton, Ct. - Circa 1895. A young boy goads an alligator by ringing his chime repeatedly at the ferocious predator. As the toy is played with, the alligator moves forwards and backwards on the platform. All the while, he snaps his powerful mouth open and closed in an attempt to catch the foolish boy and devour him. Condition: Near Mint Condition.
