Royal Circus Revolving Monkey Cage - Cast Iron Toy - Made by the Hubley Mfg. Company. Lancaster, Pennsylvania - Circa 1910. The revolving monkey cage is the ”holy grail” from the Royal Circus set of toys. There are only three extant specimens of this rare toy in the world. Hubley produced several of their circus toys with animated action, notably, the Farmer Van and the wagons with acrobatic clowns on bars. But the Revolving Monkey Cage represents their supreme achievement. When the toy is pushed, the tree and the monkeys revolve within their environment. This toy is 100% mint condition.
