Important American Tin Floor Train - Made by the Hull & Stafford Company. Clinton, Ct. - Circa 1868 - 32” Long. This wonderful American tin floor train demonstrates many of the characteristics that collectors prize from the early years of toy production. In particular, note the pronounced arched gothic windows of the passenger cars, the crimped tin additions to the locomotive, and the detailed flourishes on the roof of the engineers cabin. Another feature that one only sees in early floor trains is the standing figure in the train's tender. Condition: Excellent Condition.
