Mechanical One Horse Trotting Sulky - Made by the George Brown Company. Forestville, Ct. - Circa 1875 - 10 1/2” Long. New Discovery at Cottone Auctions. George Brown offered this light airy clockwork sulky either with one horse or with a pair of trotters. It is of great interest that they chose to not camouflage the mechanism beneath an awkward and potentially unattractive tin chassis. This is a very exceptional specimen of this rare toy.
