Bidspirit auction | Trick Pony Bell Ringer
Trick Pony Bell Ringer - Made by the Gong Bell Company. East Hampton, Ct. - Circa 1895. The Gong Bell Company created a large group of bell ringer toys based on a design that used a freely swinging axle attached to a second axle that runs between one pair of the toy's wheels. In this instance, the pony pivots right and left, striking the bell with a pair of chimes attached to a rod he holds in his mouth. This toy retains its mint and original painted surface. Condition: Near Mint Condition.
