The English Football Bank - Made by John Harper & Company, Ltd. Willenhall, England - Patented Circa 1895. From the Collection of Emmanuel Rodrigué. A soccer player practices making penalty shots to the net, but instead of using a ball, he kicks large old English copper pennies. Mr. Rodrigué discovered this magnificent quality bank about fifty years ago in the Paris Flea Market. That was certainly a wonderful score for him. Antique toy banks are only seldom in such extraordinary condition as this beauty. Condition: Near Mint Condition.
