Fully Expanded Independence Hall - Smaller Version of the 3-in-1 Bank - Made by Enterprise Mfg. Company. Philadelphia, Pa. - Circa Mid 1870's. Enterprise Manufacturing was awarded the contract for producing toy banks as souvenirs from the Centennial Fair held in Philadelphia in 1876. They focused their work on Independence Hall, producing various models in differing sizes and finishes. Collectors refer to the fully expanded version of the bank as ”3-in-1” because it includes three different coin slots. Condition: Pristine with Lustrous Patina.
