Speaking Dog - Cast Iron Mechanical Bank
Made by Shepard Hardware Company. Buffalo, New York - 1890's. Made of Cast Iron. Place a coin on the girls paddle, press the lever and she will instruct the dog to "speak" while the coin disappears into the bench. 7 1/4" Wide. Only the girl's arm is currently working, the dog does not speak or wag his tail.
Condition: Very Good Paint Condition. Missing one side panel and key lock trap. Top plate has been repaired. A good piece to buy if you need some parts.
