Fire Patrol Wagon - Cast Iron Toy
Pratt & Letchworth Company. Buffalo, NY - 1890. The Haradin Family Collection. This magnificent fire toy has all the bells and whistles. We witness two black steeds racing to the scene of a raging blaze. Pratt & Letchworth chose a color scheme of robin's egg blue with cream colored wheels for the wagon. It retains its original driver and the three firemen seated in the rear. For this rare toy, P & L opted to paint their fire hats white to match the wheels. Toys don't get any better than this beauty.
Condition: Near Mint - Extraordinary Patina.
