Mechanical Tricycle Toy
Made by the Stevens & Brown Company. Connecticut - Circa 1870's - 11" Long. Its bright colors, coupled with its dynamic action, quickly made this tricycle toy one of the greatest and most popular mechanical toys of the late 19th century. For the Stevens & Brown Company it meant lots of profits, enabling them to explore new avenues of toy production. The present tricycle toy is dazzling and works well.
