Pig in High Chair - Cast Iron Mechanical Bank - Made by the J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Connecticut - Circa 1897. This amusing hungry piglet would have resembled a gleaming piece of silver when brand new. He represents one of Stevens' few forays into banks with metallic finishes. Not surprisingly, he was created for sale during America's Gilded Age. Condition: Very Good Condition.
