Art Deco Fox Terrier Cast Iron Doorstop - Unknown American Maker. Mid 1930's - 7” Tall x 9” Wide. Terriers are among the most peppy and playful breed of dog. This downward stretching dog is very reminiscent of Nick & Nora Charles canine companion Asta (The Thin Man was released in 1934). In terms of its design, this door stop is thought to be made by the same maker as the Deco Giraffe (Lot 549). Condition: Excellent Paint & Patina.
