Bi-Plane Circling Tower Windup Toy - Attributed to Müller & Kadeder. Germany - 1910 - 15” T x 24” W. This is a very kinetic and aesthetically pleasing aeronautical toy. Made in Germany, it draws very closely from the early biplane designs of the Wright Brothers. The plane itself is 10” long and has a 7” wingspan. Winding the plane up engages the propellor, which then causes the plane to circle the command tower. The toy works extremely well.
