Soldier and Red Cross Dog Tin Toy - Attributed to Issamayer Company. Germany - 1910 - 7” Long x 7” Tall. This represents an extremely scarce hand-painted German novelty toy. Collectors see the dog by himself with some regularity, but the toy is exceedingly scarce when the dog is found accompanied by a soldier. In fact, there are fewer than ten known extant examples. This is a very elusive find worthy of a sophisticated collection.
