Fruits and Vegetables Peddlers Dray - Probably made by Althof-Bergmann New York - Circa 1880 - 18 1/2” Long Russ & Sheila Harrington Collection Excellent Plus Condition with Great Surface This represents a very nicely designed large scale hand-painted American tin toy. The bed of the dray is unusually deep. One wonders if this toy was originally filled with miniature fruits and vegetables. The canopy which covers the figure is totally original and gives great added eye appeal to the toy. One further unusual feature is that the toy is outfitted with a ringing bell. This is a terrific toy in truly exceptional condition.
