Clown and Trained Dog Bell Toy - Jumping Through Circus Hoop #44 Bell Toy Made by Gong Bell East Hampton, CT - Circa 1900 Very Good Original Condition (Clown missing tip of right shoe and white dog with some old repainting) This ”hard-to-find” bell toy is the largest platform bell ringer made at the close of the nineteenth century. A brass ratchet was used to effectuate the complex action that simulates the dog jumping through the hoop.
