Zhitomir Shas - 21 Volumes. Special Set Printed on Blue Paper - A complete set of the Zhitomir Shas, printed by the Shapiro Brothers, Zhitomir 1858-1864. An original set in 21 volumes, owned by Akiva Rubinstein of Stavisk, and later by his brother-in-law R. Baruch Yitzchak Levine (1910-1989), Rabbi of the Mekor Chaim neighborhood in Jerusalem.  A special set printed on blue paper. To the best of our knowledge, a blue-paper set such as this has never been seen at auction.  Note: The volumes were not originally printed with the Rif/Ran, hence they were added at a later period (presumably by R. Levine), from different copies and on regular paper.  In overall good-fair condition, condition varies between volumes. Bound in modern cloth bindings.
