Printed by his children after his death, as the Chasam Sofer famously did not publish any works during his lifetime. See his responsa (Siman 208), published within this volume, regarding this topic.  Ownership Inscription of Yechiel Michel Halevi Epstein on title page, likely   none other than the famed ”Aruch Hashulchan” (1829-1908). It was probably owned by him during his youth. Also seen are stamps of R. Klonemus Kalman Levin, Rav of Dworetz, Lithuanua.  Also bound with: Sefer Ohr Chadash, Stettin 1859.  In good condition, with light stains. Bound in original binding; front cover partially detached.
