The Famed Rödelheim Machzor – A Near Complete Set, First Edition - First edition of the famed Rödelheim Machzor, according to the Ashkenazic Rite. Edited and printed by R. Wolf Heidenheim himself.  The Machzorim were met with high acclaim in Western Europe, and were likely the most popular prayer books in use during the 19th and 20th centuries.  Most famously, the Chasam Sofer was very fond of Heidenheim’s works, and he personally used his Machzorim, which are currently in possession of his descendants till this day.  This set comprises of 6 volumes (out of 9). Some volumes have the additional copper-engraved title page, which was included only with some volumes.   The set is as follows: Day II of Rosh Hashana (1800) Days I and II of Sukkos (1800) Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah (1803) Days I and II of Passover (1800) Seventh and Eighth days of Passover (1800) Shavuos (1805) All volumes are first editions, complete, and in good condition. Bindings are worn, some missing spines.
