Sefer Pirkei Rabbi Eliezer, Venice 1608. Pirkei R. Eliezer is an Aggadic Midrash attributed to the Tannah R. Eliezer ben Horcanus, based on the order of parts of the Torah. R. David Luria of Bichow, in his commentary to this work (Warsaw 1851) writes that the Midrashim found here are alluded to in the written Torah, and are therefore part and parcel of the oral Torah.
In very good condition. Some headers cropped. Many passages have been canceled out by the Italian censors. Previous ownership inscription in ancient oriental script seen on title page.
