Splendid Hebrew Classic: Teshuvos and Chidushei Maharit – All Parts Bound In One Large Volume, Venice 1645. First Edition - A magnificent, complete copy of Sefer Teshuvos Maharit – R. Yosef Di Trani (1568-1639), who was one of the great Acharonim who lived during the turn of the 16th century. Printed after his death in 1645 by his son R. Yeshaya Di Trani, with an introduction from him expounding on his father’s greatness. The Chida, in his work Shem HaGedolim, writes that all of the Gedolei Hador were disciples of the Maharit.  This copy contains all parts of his responsa works bound in one as originally published, as well as his Chidushim on Gemara (Kiddushin, Shabbos and Kesubos), which are learned and cherished in the Yeshiva world until this very day. This copy is in excellent condition, printed on crisp, white paper with red edges. These works are bound in one volume as originally published, and are rarely found in a condition such as this. Each part is printed with its own title page and indices. A small marginal gloss in Italian script is seen on pp. 9 of Even Haezer.  This copy includes an additional [2] pages of errata which are not found in a majority of copies. Interestingly, the individual who was in charge of overseeing the printing asks the reader to judge him favorably, since it was printed by non-Jews, who worked even on Shabbos. As such, many of the mistakes happened on Shabbos, since he was not there to supervise the printing process! Please refer to the Hebrew description for an exact quote of the text.  Book I (Orach Chaim): [2], 7, [1] pp.  Book II (Yoreh Deah): [1], 56, [1] pp.  Book III (Even Haezer): [1], 61, [1] pp.  Book IV (Choshen Mishpat): [1], 131, [2] pp.  Book V (Chidushei Gemara): [1], 123, [2] pp.  Page size: 27cm. Bound in a new half-leather binding.
