Sefer Likutei Halachos Yoreh De’ah – Breslov, Zolkiew 1848. First Edition - A complete copy of Sefer Likutei Halachos on Yoreh De’ah, Zolkiew 1848. First Edition.  Likutei Halachos is a compilation of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov's teachings on Jewish law and was organized and compiled by his foremost disciple, Rabbi Nosson Sternhartz. He meticulously collected and organized Rabbi Nachman's discourses on various halachic topics, drawing from his conversations, lessons, and writings. The purpose of this compilation was to provide a comprehensive guide to understanding and applying Jewish law in accordance with the teachings of Rabbi Nachman. The structure of Likutei Halachos mirrors the order of the Shulchan Aruch, covering topics such as prayer, blessings, Shabbos, festivals, dietary laws, and more. However, in each section, Rabbi Nosson weaves in the unique insights and mystical perspectives that Rabbi Nachman shared on these matters. One of the distinctive features of Rabbi Nachman's approach to halacha, as presented in Likutei Halachos, is the emphasis on the inner, spiritual dimensions of the commandments. He often explored the deeper meanings behind the Mitzvos, encouraging practitioners to connect with Hashem on a profound level through their observance. The process of compiling and printing Likutei Halachos spanned several decades after the passing of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in 1810. Although Rabbi Nosson Sternhartz undertook the responsibility of organizing and disseminating Rabbi Nachman's teachings during his lifetime, the first volume was not printed until 1843, approximately 30 years after Rabbi Nachman's passing. Yoreh De’ah is known to be the most scarce volume of all six volumes which were printed. Complete copies rarely appear at auction.  In very good-excellent condition. Miniscule worm track seen on title page, affecting just one letter of text on verso. Some headers partly trimmed. This copy is without the pages of indices which are found in some copies.
