Peirush HaRa’avad V’HaRosh, Prague 1725. First Edition. An Impressive Wide-Margined Copy! - Sefer Peirush HaRa’avad V’HaRosh contains the commentaries of R. Avraham b. David (Ra’avad) and R. Asher b. Yechiel (Rosh) on various Tractates printed here for the first time from manuscript form. In his preface, the publisher relates that these commentaries were published from the personal manuscript of R. Bezalel Ashkenazi, who had copied them from their original manuscript. A wide-margined copy. Rare. The Chidah, in his Sha’ar Yosef (Horayos 3a), writes the following regarding the rarity of this work: “While I was in Germany I saw [this commentary] printed in Prague which cannot be found anywhere else”.
