A Pedigree Copy. - Sefer HaMakneh – Classic Work of The Hafla’ah on Masechta Kiddushin, Offenbach 1801. Printed During Author’s Lifetime. Also bound with Sefer Machaneh Levi, which contains Chidushim on Shas from R. Zvi Hirsch Horowitz, son of the Hafla’ah.  With ownership stamps of R. Lipman David Schuvaks (1830-1924), one of the leading Chasidic Rabbis in Jerusalem in the early 20th century. He was originally from Kotsk, and was a close follower of R. Menachem Mendel of Kotsk. In his younger years, he studied together with the Avnei Nezer, R. Avraham Borenstein of Sachatshov. In fair condition, with light stains throughout. Some light worming in margins, not affecting text. An ancient gloss in Sephardic handwriting can be seen on pp. 54. Bound in an old binding, partially detached.  [5], 256; [2], 98, [1] pp.
